All trained professionals in Librarianship, Documentation, Reprography, etc. working in libraries, documentation centres, information & communication centres, and information literacy units of agricultural and agro-biological areas under NARES, ICAR and SAUs.

Retired personnel of such categories.

All persons interested in the development of Agricultural Libraries and directly related activities in agro-biological areas.
AALDI reserves the right to admit applicants and its decision is final.

The Society consists of the following membership categories.
Ordinary Membership
Annual subscription per head for each calendar year.
Institutional Membership
Open to academic and R&D institutions, per calendar year.
Life Membership
Open only to individuals — a single one-time subscription.
Honorary Members
Approved by 2/3rd members of the Executive Council.
Honorary — No Fee
No membership fee is required from Honorary Members.
